Back when I was in school, I wanted to be a illustrator. I ended up as a graphic artist and art director instead, but the old itch is still there. When I get a chance to jump in and actually do illustration and not just direct it, I have a blast! I ran drum scanners for years and worked as lead digital retoucher at two large print companies. My title then was "digital image specialist". Image manipulation, print and web design along with product design are my current focus. Right now, I'm living the dream with the best job I've ever had! In many ways, I consider myself a practical artist. Photoshop is my playground and I always tell people, "With enough time and money, I can make almost anything you want happen."
